When Life Gives You Lemons... Grill 'Em!

Trout, as magnificent as it may be, it still simply a vehicle for conveying grilled lemon into my belly. Trust me. Or, try this and become a believer.

Preheat your grill. Season mini sweet peppers, baby bella mushrooms, and whole trout with salt, olive oil, and Old Bay. Slice two lemons on an angle. Place everything on the grill, checking every 5 minutes for about 15-20 minutes.


Remove the veg from your grill and set side in a large serving bowl.

Place the trout on your grill and cover. Let cook on one side for about 8 minutes.


Flip. Turn off the heat and leave on the grill for another 3-4 minutes. Remove the trout skin. (It will peel off easily.)

Place the trout and veg on a single large platter. Serve. Best eaten with your fingers while standing up in the kitchen or on the balcony.
